In the wake of a deadly crash at a high school in the Dominican Republic, the album that would become ERIKER has been postponed for months, but its full release is finally upon us.
Erikson, the acclaimed New York Times music critic, is bringing the project to fruition with his debut solo album titled Bedroom, which comes out on September 17 via Epic.
“I had the honor of working with Eri for a number of years,” he told Billboard.
“We were friends, and I felt his sense of humor, his sense for songwriting, and his sense about the craft.
And his work ethic was absolutely top notch.
I was able to spend countless hours and hours working with him, and so when I heard that the album was coming out, I was excited.”
ERIKERS debut album is due out September 17, 2017.
Stage deli will debut “Bedroom” in late September and release the album on the band’s own label, Eriks Entertainment.
The band will also be performing a handful of new songs during the tour.
